OFF - weights at AFRH

Got up early intending to both lift and run, but soon realized I could use a day off. Calves and feet are super-sore from all the concrete (and likely the longer runs in the Zantes'), so I went down to the weight room in The Home and got in a good lift: deadlifts, curls, calves; abs, glutes, OH snatches, and hops. Pretty solid! Got in there before all the old guys started streaming in.

After that, I drove back into downtown for more PJ's coffee (which is arguably better than Bank House, and closer), then back. Rest of the day:

- did a TON of work, while "hanging out" in Grandpa's room
- finally left at around 11ish
- went to Harbor View in Long Beach for lunch with mom. It took a while, but we had some good chats
- drove to the airport. Delayed
- flew together to DFW, then had a beer before she flew to MSP. Good to spend some quality time
- I got delayed again, a good hour-plus
- into PDX at 10ish, and not home 'til 12:30

Long day! Had "the Jimmy legs" from all the sitting!
