Weather: 50s, cold and gray
Comments:
OK day, but when it was time to run, I had some SERIOUS gut-rot. Turns out it was from the low-carb pancake CA had left me (made from coconut flour, which I thought would be better than almond flour). About two miles in, I had to deuce really bad, but once I did, my gut still REALLY hurt. It was all I could do to run a couple miles on the turf, then a roundabout way back to the office.
Rest of the day: BAD gut rot for about an hour.
Met Ricky down in the Grove for a "coaching meeting". He's been the Cottage Grove track coach for years and years, and I've *almost* coached there many times. Really nice guy and a *solid* character as a coach. We had a few beers over a few hours, taking about stuff. Really fun.
