Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 80s, but breezy
Comments:
Worked 'til like 530, then hustled over to LCC to coach Laura Lee in her first track race! Once I got there, I was bummed to not race, myself, but I'm pretty sore and cooked right now (especially after the AM session).
Ran a few bouts:
- 2 miles easy warm-up
- short post-race cool-down
- 4x 150m long strides, post-race
- 1 mile cooldown
She struggled (getting out too hard, then "tying up" early and severely!), but she enjoyed it, and I think it was good training. Besides, it was a nice change-of-pace and overall holistic challenge.
Post-track:
- store for food
- home to eat and relax a bit
- packing for tomorrow
- CA didn't get home 'til 1030, and we weren't asleep 'til after midnight -_-
