grind mile, 2x 4-3-2-1

Weather: 80, hot already

Comments:
Treated a couple clients, then snuck in a speed session, before my "traveling" new client. The Barrel to Keg relay was tomorrow, but I needed to at least get in some short speed.

Ran a couple miles, did drills, then strides, then did a bark grind mile. Felt strong:

Jogged over to the track, which was a bit more shocking. Tried really hard to be TALL and to PULL the leg beneath me.

Annoyingly, I felt some excess hamstring (R) over-work...which is a warning sign of some ineffciency. That said, the sagital plane felt strong. Splits (~):

71, 52, 33, x
69, 51, 31, x

Solid.

Rest of the day:
- had a REALLY COOL patient (17 yo tennis player + parents) drive up from SONOMA to see me. Long story short: lateral ankle = sural nerve!
- BGD got to town!
- home for some quick work, "breakfast", then out for beers
- up WAY too late getting late-late dinner at Papa's Soul Food (took way too long)
