Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 80s, hot
Comments:
Sat around and did some work for a bit. But I felt good, and SO encouraged by what I needed to do with running:
- true Tall & Forward
- "Flick & PULL" pawback (to keep that lower leg "Tall")
that I wanted to run again.
So at 11:30, I was out the door again.
Ran easy back to the school, back toward our warm-up route, then a detour to a park on the outskirts of town. There I found a good 5-6 ball fields of real (but super-thick!) grass, where I did nearly 2 miles of barefoot. Felt good. Then put the shoes on and ran home.
Felt pretty damn good, post "workouts" and weights! Was sub-7s on the way home.
Rest of the day:
- breakfast, cleaned up and headed to Spokane
- awesome happy hour snacks and beer in town
- to the airport
- fly home!
Good trip! Weird, but really good!
