Slept so-so last night, took a quick shower, packed up and hit the Residence Inn -- the hotel I WILL stay at tonight -- for breakfast. Good granola and blueberries!

First day of class: Went AWESOME. Our instructor is bad-ass. Reminds me a lot like Jeff, but definitely more comedic without even trying. Learned a TON.

My R leg felt like SHIT, though: WOW. Leg pain with maybe 20 minutes sitting. SUCKED. Dunno what's going on, but with all the talk about back pain, I'm worried it's a legit derangement. Did a TON of press-ups on breaks but they didn't seem to make a diff while sitting.

Class got out at 5 so I went to Whole Foods across the street and bought a SHIT-TON of good beer, checked into the hotel, and just DRANK: A LOT. A little "bummed out" about last night so we tied a few on...and wound up in bed by 830!

Not a bad first day! :)

No running today: who knows what's up with my leg, but I don't think running would be a good idea.
