Emily's Constituional Hunt

Good hunt tonight - my first in a while. Emily led. In attendance:

OGs: me, Lewis, Tommy
Emily, Thornton, John (newbie, CB's friend?) then two brand new folks: "Kim & Justin" -- trailrunner folks from OH who are living in an airstream in east Eugene!

Ran the constitutional, "low to high" -- down to Amazon, up the Headwaters trail to Ridgeline, then back via Spring. Hadn't done this in MONTHS!

Chatted up front with Emily about housing. She may check out our place for moving into our one BDR below us. We basically complained about the high cost of living...I know it's not two-thirds that of CA, but jeez, it just sucks.

Me up front, getting her worked up, kept the pace pretty good (like high 8s, instead of maybe high 9s mpm), and that felt pretty good. The climb was...easy.

Once we got to Ridgeline, I slipped back and chatted with Matt about all things Pleasant Hill. CC districts is this week -- we'll see how the kids do.

From Dillard to Baldy to Spring...I just felt stiff. I'm definitely feeling the cumulation of the marathon stiffness, and I need a clean-out.

Justin and Kim are nice. Definite N00bs.

Good run. Definitely need a massage though.
