OFF - slept, too damn cold

SLEPT in. Thought about running, but wound up doing a fair chunk of work before going to Brandie's for brunch.
It started cold (like 0F) and got colder and windier. By the time I left MSP, it was -5 and about 15mph steady winds! YIKES!
Good final chat with mom in the car ride home. In essence, I tried to get her to open her mind a bit about her relationship with Brandie's husband. It's rough, and it's straining Brandie a lot.
Overall, it was a really good trip: good communication and QUALITY time with family.
But dang, it was nice to be home. Spent the second-to-last night in the apartment, solo, upon arrival at 9PM.
