Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Weird day: no TBC because it was the MLK holiday. Worked both AM & PM.
Ran mid-day with CA. We were argumentatitve a lot of the run, the result of some stressors for us both. What got us both going was talking about running form. She can be a "difficult student", because we'll talk about and do something, but then, like months later, she'll claim she never understood what we talked about. "The Hinge" was one of them: the importance of sinking down in the hips.
This is a huge cue for her, because if she doesn't do it, it creates major stress to her hip joint on the left (which is what happened yesterday). So we stopped a couple times, mid-run to talk and demo. It was difficult for me to not get frustrated, but I need to be more patient and understanding.
Ankle-heel fairly sore but it came around.
