June 2, 2018 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Other
Weather: 70s, warm already
Comments:
Slept so-so: woke up sweating at around 2, then slept on the couch.
Energy: pretty rough in the AM. Not sure why.
Deuce: mostly solid, and non-urgent.
Did the usual AM routine: tea, walk, back to the house. CA got up at 8:45 and wanted to go to yoga. I reluctantly agreed.
It was an OK class. Another Lindsey replacement.
I got depressively introspective during yoga. I looked at my toes: the big toes got blown out during Black Canyon (2-16). They're about half-way healed. I figured my gut and system are going to take at least that long (so at least another 3 months, if not more).
Then I got to thinking again about WSER '13. My conclusion: my body has been tanking SINCE then (but not because of then). All the weird shit I've been going through as been things turtle-slow regression:
* the weird allergy stuff (olive oil at TNF '14, all the weird food stuff)
* ALL the bad energy, grumpy days -- SO many "fun trip" memories with CA are stained by these (heretofore) unexplained experiences
I found myself longing for that '11-13 period, when I had barely ANY of these experiences. Yes, some allergies, but that was it. My gut's for sure been off for a very long time (>10 years if not >20 or even 30), but no doubt what sent it spiraling was the high-fat diet.
After yoga, we walked (nearly a mile) to Wandering Goat for coffee, sat there and chatted - about this and other things - then took our coffee to the river, walking the river path back to the van.
Ankle was a little pissy by the end. We must've walked a good 2.5 miles at least.
Once home:
* ate salad
* took a nap
This is the life of an adrenal-fatigued dickhead.
