Campus loop from work

August 20, 2018 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: 60, already hazy. Humid

Comments:
Slept well last night, got up, did 3x:

knee push-up
bridges (emphasis foot action)
abs

Then went for my neighborhood tea + walk. My ankles were remarkably not that sore, so I decided I'd go run before work.

Ran the usual from the office. The ankles were a little rough in the first K, then more or less fine! Felt remarkably good, which included some sub-8 miles (crazy to brag about that).

Did about 7 strides on the way home.

Rest of the day:
* 2 pts in the AM
* coaching and lunch with CA at Hideaway (Sundial was closed)
* 3 pts in the PM

Found out:
* my Grandpa might be dying (again). It's looking pretty bad this time.
* my brother Will may be going to inpatient alcohol rehab. There's an intervention planned for Thursday, led by (gasp!) his dad. Also: It's looking pretty bad this time.

Gratitude for the lucky and good lives we have.
