Weather: 40, chilly!
Comments:
Nearly considered NOT running today. The ankles were really sore in the afternoon. But what I realized, again: it's actually the feet/toe tendons that are the worst. They were tight AF, again, and stretching the foot *on something* helped.
The question: Am I STILL doing something stupidly inefficient to keep them PO'd? I hope not.
Slept 'til 8:20, then got out the door at 8:45. If anything, I was less stiff than yesterday and after an 8:xx mile, got down to mid 7s, even on a rolling route that took me past and around the Mill Creek GC, and over the Salado Creek, twice.
Pretty chilly running north, but once out of the wind, I was fine. Did x5 strides at the end.
Rest of the day:
* breakfast at the Inn again (this time I took an Allegra and felt fine afterward -- my dairy tolerance IS improving...seems all histamine at this point)
* went to Miles/Leslie's house for a while...then my mom and Miles went to go see her mom(!)
* Leslie, Brandie and I drove to Austin and checked into our hotel
