BLIZZARD 2019 - Day 2 - InShape Treadmill Tempo + weights

Weather: low 30s...not really melting

Up at 7, again thinking I'd be able to salvage a work day.

With my truck beached, we were forced to walk to the gym and run there. I considered driving CA's truck, but on our uncleared driveway...it got stuck on the FLAT, like 30' from our door! SO PISSED!

So I packed all my work stuff and trudged down to the gym. I was feeling OK, but not great: stiff from the run, and still painful in my left pelvis.

On a treadmill beside CA at Inshape, I just under two miles for the warm-up, then got after it for the 3 mile tempo:

* 1st mile: just over 6:00 pace (10mph)
* 2nd mile: just under 6:00
* 3rd mile: 5:4x pace (10.2-10.7mph?)

Felt remarkably good and kept the breathing well controlled.

Post-run
* trudged in the snow to the office. But NO POWER
* trudged back to the gym and lifted weights with CA
* trudged home

Then things got interesting...
