Afternoon Campus loop

July 25, 2019 (Afternoon)

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: nearly 90, but not terrible

Comments:
Busy morning: six clients. No AM run.

Felt off today: not sure what's going on. Fasted until after the run, which did not help the run, at all.

Stride felt great but energy was POOR. Felt sick.

Came home, ate...then took a nap from like 3:30 to 6!

Then things got weird:
* studied
* ate a sort-of dinner, late, then had some chocolate for dessert.
* studied 'til probably 9:30

I've been experimenting with eating chocolate again. A year+ ago, it was a bad histamine releaser. But I'd had it the past couple nights and things seemed OK (except, "see above").

Tonight: ate chocolate (dark chocolate bar, and some other stuff), then went to bed at 11. Just to be safe, I took the customary half-allegra.

Could not sleep.

Like, at all. Got up, took the second half-allegra.

No difference. Wide awake.

After reading in bed for like...90 minutes, I decided that if I cannot sleep, I need to get work done. So I got up and finished studying "CFS"...until 3AM!

After that...I BARELY fell asleep!

Brutal. So annoying.

Thoughts:
* I think the 3 days in a row chocolate irritated my stomach, which made the extra load tonight, even worse. Pushed the system over the edge and got a double dose of histamine (and then cortisol/adrenaline, of course)
* the smoke is now here. A big fire erupted south of Eugene. This, too, is part of my malaise AND the histamine.

SUCKS. Not as "traumatic" (and anxiety-inducing) like a year ago, but just annoying.
