Briggs Hill Bike

February 8, 2020 (Morning)

Exercise Type: Bike

Weather: rainy at first, then OK

Comments:
Slept in. CA went for a run, and - not wanting to be super-lazy again - I got up and cleaned: a long put-off vacuum job downstairs.

By the time she got home, I was done, and wanting to do real exercise. So I committed to doing a full Briggs Hill loop, which I hadn't done in a long time.

I've been hesitant to bike because of my neck (and the implication that my stiff neck was CAUSING my left ankle pain), but now I'm not so sure, so I rode - but without my hydration pack "bike pack" -- which tends to stress my lower neck.

Nearly turned around 20min in as it was pissing hard on me down Lorane, but I saw sun ahead and I kept going and made the tough turn south to start the 33 mile loop (as opposed to straightahead on the 20-mile Gimpl Loop).

Rest of the ride was solid: decent effort, conditions OK (breezy but no more rain), and climbs OK. Neck and mid-back spot got sore again by mile 2x, but didn't get worse.

Rest of the day:
* similar to last Saturday: ran some errands, then went to Blair Alley to play vids, and wound up with a beer at Coldfire. Ate dinner at home
