Slept crappy:
* too much alcohol
* too much dairy
* too much dreaming about coronavirus/Game of Thrones (preparing for the "White Walkers")
Walked in the AM - felt fine enough - then ran from Hideaway.
Felt just crappy. I'm not sure my heel hurt worse, but my tolerance for pain was down today. Did way more walking (like every 1-3min, instead of every 3-5).
We wanted to do a bit of barefoot running, but the school district is replacing MULTIPLE turf fields in town: both SEHS and Spencer Butte MS. Ran there, turned around, then ran back to Rexius.
Ran about a quarter mile south before I decided to pull the plug at 3. CA continued on and I jogged back to Hideaway.
Really worked on "HEEL-striking" - allowing the whole foot (/heel) to actually strike the ground. This is a huge part of my pain and dysfunction. It's hard!
Wound up running nearly 4 miles.
