Lane 8 Tempo! (12x 400m with like 20s rest)

FIRST REAL RUN WORKOUT OF 2020!

Insanity that it's taken this long. Truly. This is the longest "no workout" streak since I started running!

Ran with CA. Warmed up the SEHS block, then quickly got into it (since we started after 6 and I worked at 7).

Plan: "Lane 8 Tempo":

* clockwise laps
* "tempo" from start line to two-turn stagger
* rest jog the stagger to start

Focus:
1. POSTURE: mid-back arch
2. ARM SWING: arms/elbows/scaps straight back (paired with R LE straight back)
3. Hip flexion!

Felt....good! And it was remarkably consistent:

First 10: ALL 1:31 (like +/1 0.3s)
11: 1:32
12: 1:28

Felt good! Really fun!

Like, zero cool-down. Then went to work!

Rest of the day:
* GREAT day of work (love that post-workout feeling!)
* home mid-afternoon
* packed the van for Yachats!!
* got there late (and since we ate lunch late, we didn't fully eat). Brew pub was already closed and "Underground" was too crowded (w/non-mask wearers)
* Beers and snacks at Smelt Sands.
* Slept at Keller Creek
