Burke Lake Endurance Phase Run

Weather: low 30s

Comments:
Woke up 2 hours before run
Breakfast: 2 packets of cinnamon oatmeal, water, and 1 cup of coffee.
Used the facilities #2
Ran at a 10 min (ish) pace for 9 miles. The trail was covered in ice but it was a nice day to run. Only windy while crossing the dam.
Saw a guy running with a Vizsla, awesome dog.
Jess ran with the new Garmin watch for the first time. It provided updates on the speed.
Felt great when it was over. Not over tired at all.
Around mile 6.5, Jess and I each had a GU gel pack. I had strawberry/banana. I think it helped.
After race, we drank water, and ate two bananas each.
