Double Yampa River+ Grind

Exercise Type: Run

Weather: teens, a litte breezy, mostly pure sun

Comments:
Really solid run today.

Got up at 5:3x and began writing. Wrote pretty solid until 9, then went to OTHS to prepare for the run: yoga, foam rolling and chops.

The plan, again: two loops of the slightly-expanded River Loop, also substituting Yampa for Lincoln (due to shitty, inconsistent snow-clearing and pedestrian traffic).

Felt good today! Some ups and downs, but when I had a down, I just chilled out and refocused on form:

* hip extension behind
* Salazar/Walmsley heel recovery/lift
* strong foot push

and

* right toe in/hip back

Felt good the first lap, stopping at the truck for water and chews. Felt GREAT on the second lap! Didn't push beyond breath-anaerobic, but had a nice cut-down.

Listened to two Peter Attia podcasts:

1. Terry Real (RLT/ "I don't want to talk about it")
2. Lori Gottlieb ("Maybe you should talk to someone")

Good relational and therapy stuff!

Post-run: hot springs, but no sauna.
