July 31, 2022 (Morning)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60 to pushing 80s
Comments:
Slept so-so: too much alcohol, even though I stopped drinking fairly early and went to bed early (<11), as well.
Launched for a RRR mid-section run from Dry Lake TH just after 8. Same pace discipline as before.
Felt a lot better than Friday, but still pretty flat. Didn't filter water, so I was short. Ate organic starburst. And otherwise hike/shuffled a lot.
Grouse: SO rocky and slow! Pretty but it (should) be in the dark
Connector: decent running to Billy's Watering Hole
FOG: pretty solid running! A few ups, and a lot of annoying tight switches, but otherwise nice. This will be in the daylight, which should make for fast running.
Felt way better than Friday! Promising!
And a BIG WEEK, too!
Post-run:
• no weights
• soak then shower at OTHS
• lunch with Garrett
Then hit the road
• stopped at Costco
Thought a TON about Jules. I got way deep into my head. Too deep, as it turns out. But I kept going round and round about whether or not she's going to "pick" staying with Zack, vs going for it, with me.
She texted, mid-ride, also "in her head", and reading (incorrectly) into one of my tweets. She wants to talk too, but I'm too tired. Pushed it to Monday.
