Comments:
BGD bowed out of this run, but I convinced him to come "coach".
Once again:
• met at PHS
• jogged (very slowly) in the dark along the canyon, to Cardiac and back
• some drills/strides
I just went by feel, and it went really well:
3:11, :09, :09, :09, :09, :08
All with about 1:00 rest.
Felt very sustainable, though I felt a *touch* asthmatic (caffeine?) in the second half, with a *touch* of right side stitch.
Lots of form-focus and coaching today:
1. Hip hinge ("get low")
2. ARMS (rear, quick - for cadence)
3. Right pelvis extension
4. "narrow" landing (flexion-adduction)
5. Pelvis left (slightly)
Ran these CW, which helped.
Solid! Very encouraging! So good to run "low 6s", sustainably!
Post-run coffee. Then immediately went to go lift.
