Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Decent day.
Up at 3:30, and seemless to the airport, including with my skis.
I was a huge asshole to a (male) flight attendant who, in first class, gave me shit about using the first class bathroom. I ALWAYS use that bathroom, because
A. I'm always in row 8 or lower, and
B. The service cart(s) are always blocking the rear bathrooms
I gave him 'tude (including, [shudder], "I'm a Premier 1K member!"), and, in my second attempt, when I explained the cart was blocking, he let me.
Lost my cool and patience. "Lost frame". Can't do that. It's a shitty thing to do. The outcome of wired-and-tired, but unacceptable.
Got decent work done in the United Club over my 2.5hr layover, then made it to Steamboat.
Clear, sunny, but fresh snow. Got to Garrett's and set up for two clients:
1. Eric
2. Callie
Both went well and were fun.
Finally after that, I got out to exercise. Considred skiing, but it was past sundown before I made it east.
Did a quad-fecta at OTHS, instead:
• run
• lift
• sauna
• hot springs
Lift was light, but fine
Run was...tight and heavy. Why? Felt a lot of quad (lateral) and moderate hamstring. Really worked on pawback/foot down.
No beers or socials, though I ran into:
• Gabe
• Matt (new fellow)
• Andrew
Bed after 10pm after a fun little text chat with Britt. Still surreal.
