tempo run at Princeton XC course

I felt like complete crap going into the run but did it anyways to get it over with. Honestly, I just dread running on the xc course since it seems like my pace is so much slower than it would be compared to my earlier tempo runs on the track. Splits were 5:27, 5:39, 5:30, 5:32, 5:04. I'm definitely not satisfied with the time since it seem ridiculously slow. And there's no way I closed the last mile that fast; I didn't even feel as though I sped up at all.
