All and all a good race. I went out too fast 5:18 or so up hill, but I didn't die that badly. I should have been able to stay with Clint, but the hill really weakened my legs the second time around. I expect to be able to push myself harder mentally in future races. The last loop was more difficult than it might otherwise have been because I hadn't walked or run it. 28:11 or whatever on that course in those conditions is way better than I could have done last year at this time. I think it's pretty close to my cederville time last year, and obviously the conditions were much faster then.

Had leg cramps in the night, probably low on potassium.
