impromptu easy

Today was SUPPOSED to be 12*400 but Lankford informed me Veale was closed when I got there at 4pm. bullshit when Case doesn't send out a university-wide email saying the university is shutting down. double bullshit if it happens when I'm going to be driving up to Case twice a week to use our track and Veale is closed.

getting a lot of ideas from Running Times about what to do the next few weeks. basically if you're running 7 times a week, then you can only afford a long run, 2 hard runs, and 4 easy runs; MAYBE 3 hard runs and 3 easy runs with 1 long run. But if you're running more than 7times/week, then you have more room to add in "moderate" workouts, rather than just having 1 long run, 2 hard workouts, and 7-11 easy runs. so after this week (screwed up because of Veale, argh) we'll see how this works (A.M./P.M.):
Sun-long, Mon-easy/easy, Tues-tempo(hard)/easy, Weds-easy/hills(moderate), Thurs-easy/easy, Fri-hard(track)/easy, Sat-moderate(alactic sprints)/easy.

so now, treadmill tempo Tuesday, 12*400 Thursday morning, alactic sprints Saturday.
