I went downtown this morning to run in the Res Rev, and I just wanted to get in a good 6 miles tempo. It was 3 2 mile loops. I planned to run about 5:30 pace, but I ended up way out in front of everyone and sort of started chasing the lead moped. I came through 2 miles in 10:41, then did the next 2 in 10:32, and then I picked up the pace a little more on the next and was feeling great. With 800 to go I was at 7:50 and still feeling good, but then a couple hundred meters later I started puking. I threw up 4 or 5 times and slowed down substantially, but still ran a 10:40. Total time was 31:53, but without getting sick at the end it could have been 15 seconds faster. Either way I'm very happy seeing as how I did 17 miles yesterday and didn't sleep much last night.
