I was hoping to run about 8:45 today. I got into the race, ran with the D1 guys and ended up going just a little faster... by 7 seconds. I can't explain it other than to say that I really am in the best shape of my life right now. I knew things were going well, but I had no idea I'd be anywhere near that level of fitness. No I'm looking at running sub 15 and throwing down a straight up baller steeple time outdoors. I really couldn't be happier right now. I'm still not sore even after this one, although that might change by the time we start the long run tomorrow...
